The average cosmetic practitioner may be a doctor, dentist, nurse or beauty therapist. Most have completed a half or full day training course, and will know how to give a standard treatment to a standard client, producing average results. Many work as sole practitioners and try to treat a wide variety of cosmetic problems with a limited range of techniques. The results are often inadequate, and problems are perpetuated when complications are dismissed rather than being treated effectively, with many practitioners not following their clients up to assess results.

A successful practice grows when outcomes consistently meet customer expectations, there are few complications, and clients feel supported. Happy clients return for further treatment, and word of mouth will lead to their friends, and friends of friends attending. Such results are produced when an understanding of underlying anatomy, and origin of each cosmetic problem, are combined with a full range of treatment options, and a demeanour that provides a pleasant, professional experience.

At COSMEDOCTOR, all practitioners are practicing medical doctors. After basic training each is mentored in order to fine tune their skills with access to a second opinion and support when required. A successful clinic is based upon effective clinical practice combined with a strong emphasis on customer service which comprises an aspect of each doctor's training. In this way our doctors can tailor treatment to a client's specific need and advise on expectations appropriately. The role of our doctors is to work on a self employed basis within selected clinic locations and to build your own business and client base under the COSMEDOCTOR umbrella. We offer regular monthly clinics within clinics and salons usually for a three to four hour period for each clinic session. Each doctor is supplied with everything they will need for the clinic including products, disposable consumables, sharps and medical waste receptacles and consent forms templates.

Our practitioners are expected to be responsible for greeting clients, organising clinic paperwork, liasing closely with the salon owner to ensure smooth running of the clinic and also taking payment for treatments and re-booking for reviews and further treatment.
