Daryl Katz
Daryl Katz was born in New York city to a family with a strong medical background. She was educated at Horace Mann and FIT. She began her artistic journey in high school and was recruited by Cooper Union as a gifted art student. While in high school, Daryl began a career in cosmetics through Estee Lauder corp. she was the youngest hire at 16 and the youngest manager at just 18.
Daryl developed her visual acuity through art and cosmetics during this time. She continued her studies at FIT in fashion buying and merchandising. Daryl moved from cosmetic management to aesthetic medicine while married to a plastic surgeon.
She developed and opened a medspa and worked in tandem with Roger Katz, M.D for 18 years. Her skillset developed to include patient assessment, facial balancing and enhancement. Her knowledge of medical aesthetic products and placement has gained her awards and credibility industry wide and most importantly with patients.
All patients receive a facial balancing consultation incorporating AI technology to illustrate potential outcomes. As patient care coordinator, Daryl’s primary goal is to educate, inform and provide the best possible outcome and custom protocol for each client.
Nancy Akbari is the Founder and CEO of Banou Cosmetics and Banou Academy, with more than 27 years of experience in Permanent Makeup, Medical Aesthetics, and professional education.
Her journey began in the medical field, where she worked as a nurse, studied phlebotomy, and built years of hands-on healthcare experience before combining her medical knowledge with her passion for beauty and artistry. Today, she is a licensed esthetician, an internationally recognized permanent makeup artist, educator, and product developer.
Nancy specializes in natural-looking permanent makeup, scar restoration, and advanced treatments for cancer survivors and clients with alopecia, helping restore confidence through compassionate, personalized care.
